Striper Brush, perfect for detailed nail art.
Load your brush on your palette by running the bristles through your GELFX Color or lacquer until you see each bristle flow separately.
Roll your brush in the product as you pull away to remove excess product and now you're ready to paint your design with evenly coated bristles.
Clean by gently squeezing out excess gel with a dry Lint-Free Wipe. For lacquer, use a Lint-Free Wipe saturated in Genius Remover.
If using our brushes with lacquer, clean your bristles by soaking a lint-free wipe in Genius Remover, gently squeeze the bristles while rolling and pulling the brush straight out. Repeat until all lacquer is removed. Do not bend the bristles.
If using our brushes with gel, clean your bristles with a dry lintfree wipe by gently squeezing the bristles while rolling and pulling the brush straight out. Repeat until all gel is removed and make sure not to bend the bristles. If there is still pigment left in your bristles, wave your bristles back and forth in clear gel like our GELFX basecoat or topcoat until all the pigment releases from the brush. Then squeeze the excess gel out with a dry lint free wipe.
Yes, our brushes are designed to make painting with gel or lacquer easier. We recommend keeping a set of brushes for gel only and a separate set of brushes for lacquer only to maintain proper care and extend the life of your brushes.
If using your brushes with lacquer, make sure to clean your brushes thoroughly using the technique discussed above and replace your cap. If using gel, after cleaning your brush, roll the bristles in a small amount of clear gel (GELFX Basecoat or Topcoat) to keep the shape of the bristles and immediately replace the cap to ensure no sunlight reaches the bristles. Since our caps are secure, there is no need to store the brushes upright or in a specific place but we always recommend keeping them in a pouch or brush cup to stay organized.
There’s 2 things you can do! First, try the soap method. Grab a bar of soap and dip your brush in water before coating the bristles in soap by dragging it back and forth over the bar. Shape the bristles and allow it to dry. This should keep your brush in perfect shape!
If your brush is a little too far gone for the soap method, grab a pair of small scissors and gently trim off the stray bristles at the base of the brush.

This is a great brush.
Does anyone know the actual mm length to each line brush?

I bought one of each of Orlys brushes and love them all! Would definitely encourage nail artists to give these brushes a try. Granted they are a little bit more expensive than the ones you can pick up from the overseas online stores that take months to arrive. But these brushes are total quality. Fine details are so much easier now. They are weighted properly and feel great in the hand. Definitely 2 thumbs up!
